I need to be better

I decided it takes too long to get pictures to upload to this dang thing. I will keep putting them on Facebook, though.
I know it has been a really long time since I posted. I read everyone else's blogs and see their pictures of their children, and think, I don't really have anything interesting to share.
My summer has been super busy. After family vacation, I had one more Relay so work was pretty busy. Then I went to Austin one weekend for my cousin's wedding. I brought Katilynne home with me to spend her week with me. Then the next weekend I took her home and went to my ten year high school reunion. Talk about weird. It doesn't seem like it could already have been ten years ago.
You know, the sad thing about Kaitlynne's stay is that after we got home on Sunday night, I got a horrible stomach virus and was sicker than a dog all night Sunday night and Monday. Even more sad is that I didn't take hardly any pictures of her stay. I am so bad at pictures. You would think I would take a pic with her each summer in the same spot to see growth. Nope, don't think about that kind of stuff until it is WAY too late. I guess at least she has the memories. We played lots of Monopoly and Yahtzee. She won every game of Monopoly. WE played until midnight two nights. We actually played until someone went bankrupt. It was me. I have never played Monopoly that long. She is so mature and fun to be around. She is turning into a teenager and that is crazy. I feel like I am missing out on so much because they are all so far away. I always imagined I would get married first, have kids and then our kids would grow up together. Melanie and I would live close together and make Wal-Mart runs together, etc. Obviously, the Lord had other plans. Sometimes those plans are easier to swallow than others.
